The Lead: The Maroons notched three Top 5 performances and landed 12 total athletes in the Top 10 of their events at the University of Lynchburg.
Meet Highlights:
- Ophelia Ladner placed third overall in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.78. McKenna Riolo finished 11th in 1:15.12.
- In the 100m hurdles, Olivia Viers came in fourth with a time of 15.10 seconds, followed by Cammi Winston in sixth at 15.46. That duo ranks third and fourth in the ODAC, while Viers sits in fourth place and Winston is in 10th in the NCAA South Region.
- Sarah Fuchs finished fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.45m. She also sits in fourth place in the conference standings and ninth in the region.
- Savannah Reid placed sixth in the 3,000m steeplechase, completing the race in 12:40.45. Her time is the third-fastest in the conference this spring, and it ranks seventh in the region.
- Cammi Winston landed at 10.58m in the triple jump, good for seventh place.
- In the 400m, Maryrose Molina-Shuman finished seventh in 59.32 seconds. Ladner came in 10th at 59.88, and Nadira Cantey placed 12th in 1:01.66. Molina-Shuman now leads the ODAC, with Ladner ranked third and Cantey in sixth. Molina-Shuman and Ladner also sit within the top 10 in the South Region.
- Tasha Miller recorded an eighth-place showing in the pole vault with a height of 3.05m. She currently ranks fifth in the conference and 10th regionally.
- Rebecca Carr's mark of 1.50m landed her in ninth place in the high jump.
- In the javelin, Claudia Disbrow finished ninth overall at 32.47m. She now sits in third place in the ODAC.
- Disbrow also registered a 10th-place performance in the discus with a mark of 32.67m. Bri Marando finished 11th at 32.18m.
- Viers placed 11th in the long jump at 5.01m.
