The Lead: The Maroons' 4x400 relay team took first with an ODAC-leading time, while
Ophelia Ladner set a lifetime best in the 400m at the Wittenberg Invite.
Highlights:
- The Maroons' 4x400 relay team of Lindsey Hobin, Maryrose Molina-Shuman, Nadira Cantey and Mae Kaufman won its race in a season-best 3:59.76, the fourth-fastest mark in Roanoke history. Their converted time of 4:02.95 currently leads the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and ranks third in the NCAA South Region.
- Ophelia Ladner established a new personal best in the 400m, recording a time of 1:00.40. Her adjusted mark of 1:01.21 ranks fourth in the ODAC this winter.
- Hobin placed ninth in the 200m with a time of 26.48 seconds.
Up Next: The Maroons will host the ODAC indoor championship meet in Salem next weekend.
