The Short story: The Roanoke College wrestling team had six student-athletes reach the finals and claimed three individual titles at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships, hosted by Washington & Lee University. The Maroons claimed the conference team title last week, decided by dual meet action.
Jonah Paulino earned the individual crown at 133 pounds,
Xavier Preston won at 174 and
Vincenzo Corvetto bested the field at 184.

Jonah Paulino earned a bye into the semifinals, and advanced to the finals with a technical fall victory. He scored a major decision in the finals over his foe from Washington & Lee.
*Preston had a fall and a decision to reach the finals and beat his W&L opponent by decision to win the title.
*Corvetto posted a fall and a major decision before winning his match in the finals
ODAC Runners-Up:

Isiac Paulino pinned his opponent in the 125-pound semifinals but suffered a tough sudden victory loss in the finals to the fifth-ranked wrestler in the region.

Mark Samuel advanced to the finals with two victories at 141, one by tech fall and one by pin. He fell in the finals to the third-ranked wrestler in the region.

Jarrod Pominville scored a decision victory to reach the 157-pound finals, but fell 11-8 in the finals after moving out to an early lead.
