Bridgewater defeats Roanoke women’s volleyball

The Short story: Bridgewater College got stronger as the match went on Thursday night as the Eagles defeated the Roanoke College women's volleyball team in three sets in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.  

Inside the numbers:
*Emma Catoe had seven kills and Sidney Alumbaugh had five kills and 10 digs.
*Danica Taylor hit six kills while Haley Torbert had five.
*Makenzie Board posted a match-high 22 assists.
*Teagan Hubble had 11 digs and Payten Johnston had eight.
*Faith DePew collected 13 kills and six digs for Bridgewater (13-5/6-2 ODAC).

Up Next: The Maroons (9-9/4-4) are back in action Saturday with another home match, taking on Randolph College at noon.
