LEXINGTON, Va. - The Roanoke College men's tennis team showed their potential for the new season as they took a singles and a doubles match before ultimately being overcome by Washington & Lee.

The Highlights 

• It is the first time since head coach Jack Fishwick did so during singles in 2021 that the Maroons have tallied a point against Washington & Lee. 

• Federico Maccari and Nolan Macedo picked up their second straight victory as a duo in the contest. 

• It is the first time since 2015 that Roanoke has taken a match in doubles against the Generals. 

• It is also the second consecutive match that Maccari has taken in singles play.
