The Short story: The Roanoke College women's volleyball team took the second set from second-place Lynchburg (19-2/7-1) Friday night in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match, but the Hornets rallied for a four-game victory.

It is the final regular season home game for the Maroons this fall, whose schedule concludes with six matches away from Salem before the start of the ODAC Tournament.    

 Inside the numbers:
*Sidney Alumbaugh delivered a team-high 10 kills with two service aces and five digs.
*Kaci Morrison had eight kills and Emma Catoe had eight kills and four blocks.
*Raygan Wade compiled 17 assists and 10 digs.
*Teagan Hubble tied for the match high with 16 digs.
*Danica Taylor added three aces and three blocks.
*Kate Hardie compiled 17 kills, three aces and four blocks for Lynchburg.

Up Next: The Maroons (9-11/4-6 ODAC) travel to Guilford College next Wednesday for another ODAC match at 6 p.m.
