How It Happened:
*The game was even for the first 45 minutes and Roanoke nearly netted the game's first goal 65 minutes into play, but
Rebecca Carr's blast from just outside the box hit the left post and bounced off. Lynchburg's Morgan Oliver scored the game's first goal 40 seconds later, whose shot bounced in off the post.
* About 15 minutes later, Oliver scored again to put Lynchburg (7-1-1/2-0) up 2-0.
