How it happened:
The Maroons had 11 wrestlers place in the top six on the afternoon, including first place finisher Elijah Smoot at 133 pounds. Smoot won the title match over his foe from McDaniel via pin in just 33 seconds.

Zachary Turner took second at 149 pounds, as did Hunter Moore at 184.
