The Short story: The Roanoke College women's volleyball team fell Friday in three sets at Virginia Wesleyan University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match.

The Maroons led 24-22 in the third game, but the Marlins won the last four points to take the match.

 Inside the numbers:
*Senior Kylee Draper had 13 assists to move into fifth place in program history with 1,937.
*Rylee Mayer had six kills and six digs.
*Carly Lundgren slammed five kills with just one error and Peyton Kirchner and Kaci Morrison had four.
*Raygan Wade had seven assists and eight digs and Teagan Hubble had nine digs.
*The Marlins are now 10-1 overall and 2-0 in ODAC play. Hannah Smith had 18 kills and 10 digs.
