The Short story: Senior outside hitter Rylee Mayer slammed 15 kills Tuesday evening as the Roanoke College women's volleyball team rolled to a three-set win over visiting Meredith College from the Cregger Center.

The Maroons had fallen to the Avenging Angels in five sets at the Averett University Cougar Classic on August 31.  

 Inside the numbers:
*Mayer made just four errors for a .333 hitting percentage and added seven digs.
*Peyton Kirchner had eight kills and four blocks.
*Brynlee Burrill tallied 10 kills, five digs and three blocks.
*Kylee Draper had a team-high 17 assists and Teagan Hubble posted a match-high 14 digs.
*Raygan Wade finished with 12 assists and eight digs.
*Emma Duncan led Meredith (5-3) with 10 kills.
