SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College field hockey team released its 2024 schedule Monday with 17 games on the docket, eight at home.

The season opens Friday, Aug. 30 at the University of Mary Washington. The first home game of the campaign follows on Sunday, Sept. 1 against Centre College (Ky.) at 11 a.m.

The first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game is set for Oct. 5 at Virginia Wesleyan University and the regular season wraps up Nov. 2 with a home conference game against Eastern Mennonite University.

The ODAC Tournament gets underway Nov. 5 with the Championship Game held at the highest remaining seed Nov. 9.  

"The RCFH team is really looking forward to kicking off the 2024 season!" said head coach Briana Banks. "We start with strong out of conference play in September to help prepare us for the competitive October schedule against our ODAC contenders. This year we added teams outside our region that we have not competed against in the past to give us a little extra challenge!"
