SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College women's volleyball team announced its 2024 schedule on Friday, highlighted by The Maroon Classic Tournament in early September.

The Maroon Classic, September 6-7, will feature seven teams competing in the Cregger Center, followed by just six other home dates on a road-heavy schedule.

The season begins August 30-31 at the Averett University Tournament and Roanoke begins Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play September 11 at Ferrum College. The Maroons return home October 9 to host Averett in conference play.

The ODAC Tournament begins November 12.

"As always, we look forward to hosting the Maroon Classic the first weekend of September," said head coach Blair Trail. "Seven teams within the ODAC and USA South will be joining us this year in the Cregger Center.  Playing last year's top four seeded teams on the road, Virginia Wesleyan, Randolph-Macon, Bridgewater and Washington & Lee, will be a welcome challenge for our young team.  We will finish our regular season with away contests against non-conference opponents Oglethorpe University, Emory University, and Salem College, all of whom are quality opponents who will prepare us for the ODAC Tournament."
