• The Cougars snagged a 2-1 lead through doubles play. Zach Kriebel and Federico Maccari scored a victory for the Maroons at No. 1, defeating Kazuki Fukushima and Jaeden Mukkaladyil by an 8-5 count.
• Averett won the other two doubles matches: Sam Egui and Alex Rudy defeated Julio Marques and John-Henry Herrington 8-2 at No. 2, while Prabjeet Chandhok and Philipp Bohnenkamp bested Hardt Lesko and Lance Beheler 8-3 at No. 3.
• The Cougars claimed all six singles contests: Alex Donnelly over Kriebel at No. 1 (6-2, 6-1), Chandhok over Maccari at No. 2 (6-0, 2-6, 10-5), Gero Siebert against Marques at No. 3 (6-2, 6-2), Martin Guyot against Lesko at No. 4 (6-1, 6-3), Fredrik Friberg over Herrington at No. 5 (6-1, 6-0), and Bohnenkamp against Beheler at No. 6 (6-3, 6-2).
