The Maroons got excellent pitching in both games. Junior Maggie McCray took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of game one and battled through some defensive miscues to earn the complete-game win. *Roanoke loaded the bases in the fourth and Heather McQueeney ripped a single up the middle to score two.
*Ferrum loaded the bases in the sixth inning and scored two on a fielder's choice. The Panthers again loaded the bases with one out in the seventh but McCray worked out of the jam to earn the win.
