• The Maroons grabbed all three doubles points to open up a 3-0 advantage. Bella Gustafson and Halle Fernstrum notched an 8-5 win over Amelia Francisco and Abby Franks at No. 1, Victoria Rios and Lia Streibich knocked off Emma Thornton and Emily Peel 8-7 (3) at No. 2, and Julia Bassett and Camryn Breedlove defeated Emily Borchert and Chloe Bancroft 8-7 (5) at No. 3.
• Roanoke claimed the match win with singles victories in the No. 1 and No. 3 flights. Gustafson sprinted past Thornton 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, while Streibich came from behind to beat Francisco 1-6, 6-2, 10-7 at the top spot.
• Elsewhere, Fernstrum outlasted Franks 7-5, 4-6, 12-10 at No. 2, Rios rolled by Borchert 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5, and Maddie Morrell secured a 6-4, 2-6, 11-9 win over Bancroft at No. 6.
• Mount Union's single point of the day came in a tight match at No. 4 singles, where Peel overcame Bassett 1-6, 6-4, 10-2.
