The Short story: The Roanoke College men's volleyball team cruised to a three-set victory Tuesday evening against Averett University, the final home regular season match for the Maroons in the 2024 season, RC moves to 14-12 overall, already doubling last season's win total.  

Inside the numbers :
*Jackson Rutkowski drilled six kills in eight chances in his only game of the night for a .750 hitting percentage with two blocks.
*Pierce Faulcon had seven kills and Xzaiver Dixson had six, each in only two games.
*Logan Chappell delivered four-straight service aces, turning an 11-10 third game into a 15-10 advantage.
*Davin Stevenson and Gabe Fabbro each had 12 assists and Fabbro added nine digs.
*Jordan Tyler had four kills for Averett.

Up Next:
The Maroons travel to New Jersey for three matches this weekend to close out the 2024 regular season. Two of the matches are against Continental Volleyball Conference foes, and Roanoke is still alive for a postseason berth.
