HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Maroons cruised to three lopsided doubles victories. Bella Gustafson and Halle Fernstrum dispatched Hannah Huffman and Gabby Mendoza 8-1 at No. 1, Victoria Rios and Lia Streibich knocked off Morgan Hundley and Mary Mason 8-1 at No. 2, and Camryn Breedlove and Julia Bassett bested Emily Walker and Marcella Hatcher 8-0 at No. 3.
• Roanoke then dropped a grand total of four games across 12 sets of singles tennis, sweeping the six matches: Streibich against Hundley at No. 1 (6-0, 6-1), Fernstrum over Huffman at No. 2 (6-2, 6-0), Gustafson against Mendoza at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0), Bassett over Mason at No. 4 (6-0, 6-0), Rios against Walker at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0), and Morgan Tobey over Hatcher at No. 6 (6-0, 6-0).
• The Maroons have now collected ODAC wins on consecutive days, following Tuesday's 8-1 home victory over Bridgewater.
