The Short story: Senior Rylee Mayer drilled a match-high 20 kills Thursday evening to reach the 1,000-kill plateau for her career and lead the Roanoke College women's volleyball team to a five-set win at Oglethorpe University.  

Mayer is in sixth place all-time in RC women's volleyball history with 1,007 finishes.

Inside the numbers:
*Peyton Kirchner slammed 18 kills with just four errors for a .412 attack percentage.
*Raygan Wade posted 22 assists and 13 digs, and Kylee Draper had 21 assists and nine digs.
*Teagan Hubble had a match-high 19 digs and added six assists.
*Hailey Evans contributed nine kills and four blocks.  
*Briella Kohler paced the Stormy Petrels (11-12) with 17 kills and 13 digs.
