SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke softball team released its 2025 schedule on Thursday, with 11 home dates, all doubleheaders, on the slate.

The Maroons return to the James Moyer Sports Complex for home competition after a two-year hiatus for renovations. Roanoke opens the season at home against TCNJ on Friday, Feb. 21 starting at noon.

RC travels to the Maryville College Classic March 1-2 to face the host school and Rhodes once on both days.

Shenandoah University visits Salem on March 22 to open home Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. The Maroons also host conference foes Randolph, Bridgewater, Lynchburg and Eastern Mennonite University, as well as Christopher Newport University, a 2024 NCAA Tournament Super Regional team. 

"Once again we have a very challenging schedule with great teams," said head coach Mike Mitchell. "I am sure our players are ready to rise to the challenge and compete at an elite level for a successful season."

The opening round of the ODAC Tournament will also take place at the Moyer Complex May 2-4 with the second round (finals) hosted by the highest remaining seed.
