The Short story: The Roanoke College women's volleyball team defeated visiting Shenandoah University Friday night in three games in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play. The Maroons move to 4-4 on the season in conference action with four ODAC matches left on the slate.  

The program's eight seniors were recognized in a pre-match ceremony on Senior Night.

How it happened:
*Shenandoah led 20-12 in the second set, but the Maroons rallied back, including scoring the last five points of the game, for a 25-22 win.

Inside the numbers:
*Seniors Peyton Kirchner and Rylee Mayer each had 11 kills and Mayer added seven digs.
*Kylee Draper had 19 assists and 11 digs while Brynlee Burrill had 15 digs and seven kills.  
*Raygan Wade posted 12 assists and seven digs.
*Taylor Maione had 10 digs and Kennedy Abbott had five kills.
*Brooke Gast had 10 kills and only two errors for Shenandoah (8-11/1-6 ODAC).
