The Short Story:
Sophomore forward Madalyn Szoke had a hat trick Thursday as the Roanoke College women's soccer team rolled to an 8-0 win over Hollins University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
*Brooke Nicholson opened the scoring just 1:47 into the contest on a feed from Makayla Metzler.
*MC Petrucelli found the back of the net in the fourth minute and Rebecca Carr made it 3-0 at 24:09.
*Metzler and Natalia Cage scored back-to-back goals in less than a minute and Szoke netted two-straight goals to push the lead to 7-0 at intermission.  
*Szoke added another tally with less than 10 minutes left in the contest.

BY THE NUMBERS
*Metzler had a goal and two assists and Cage and Lauren Fisher added assists.
*Hollins keeper T Shover made 11 saves.
