The Short story: The Roanoke College men's volleyball team hosted Illinois Tech and the Liberty club team Saturday in the Cregger Center, but fell in four sets to both squads.
How it happened:
*The Scarlett Hawks took the first two sets, 25-10 and 25-17 before the Maroons rallied to win the third 25-23. Illinois Tech captured the fourth 25-20 to win the match.
*Roanoke won the first set in a scrimmage against the LU Club team but the Flames rallied to take the next three.

Michael Cummins blasted 14 kills against Illinois Tech and
Jackson Rutkowski had 10.

Kaeden Noble had a match-high 22 digs.

Davin Stevenson handed out 16 assists while
Leo Houser had 13.
*Grant Couper had a match-high 19 kills for Illinois Tech (2-3).
*Cummins had 14 kills and 10 digs against LU and Stevenson had 27 assists.
