HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Flying Dutchmen took all three points from doubles competition. Nicole Honrade and Sarah Kramer beat Halle Fernstrum and Julia Bassett 8-2 at #1, Meredith Haas and Eliana Shenk topped Lia Streibich and Victoria Rios 8-3 at #2, and Madison Poladian and Kendall Halsey dispatched Zane Maiden and Emma Johnson 8-1 at #3.
- The teams split down the middle in singles play, with Roanoke picking up victories at #2, #3, and #4. Streibich swept Kramer 6-2, 6-1 at #2, Bassett knocked off Haas 6-3, 7-5 at #3, and Rios rallied past Shenk 1-6, 6-2, 11-9 at #4.
- Lebanon Valley secured the match by triumphing at #1, #5, and #6 singles. At the top spot, Honrade bested Fernstrum 6-3, 6-4. Elsewhere, Poladian defeated Maiden 6-1, 6-2 at #5, and Jenna Miner beat Maddie Morrell 6-0, 6-2 at #6.
