HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Yellow Jackets led 2-1 after doubles play. Julio Marques and Jackson Wagner earned a point for the Maroons with an 8-5 win over Henry Harders and Caleb Reed at the #3 spot. BWU's Matt McGee and Trey Kernan beat Federico Maccari and Zach Kriebel 8-6 at #1, while Will Horvath and Adam Zeidler knocked off Hardt Lesko and John-Henry Herrington 8-4 at #2.
• Marques also won his singles match, dispatching Zeidler 6-1, 7-6 in the #4 flight.
• The Yellow Jackets collected the other five singles points: McGee over Maccari at #1 (6-1, 6-1), Horvath against Kriebel at #2 (2-6, 6-4, 10-8), Kernan against Lesko at #3 (6-1, 6-2), Jacob Weingart over Herrington at #5 (6-4, 6-2), and Gavin Binni against Lance Beheler at #6 (6-1, 6-0).
