HOW IT HAPPENED
- Drew jumped out in front 3-0 after doubles play. Sofia Lebedeva and Courtney Bresler topped Halle Fernstrum and Julia Bassett 8-3 at the #1 spot, Mary Kalorin and Natalia Zamora won a hard-fought 8-6 decision over Victoria Rios and Lia Streibich at #2, and Jada Worthem and Melina Christodoulou bested Zane Maiden and Emma Johnson 8-3 at #3.
- The Rangers completed the victory when Christodolou beat Fernstrum 6-2, 6-2 at #1 singles and Sanne Bloemendaal slipped past Bassett 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 at #3.
- Maiden claimed the Maroons' lone point with an 8-4 win over Taylor Dombalis at #5 singles.
- Drew's Danielle DelRosso came from behind to defeat Rios 6-7, 6-2, 10-4 at #4 singles. Kalorin knocked off Streibich 6-4, 6-2 at the #2 spot, and Zamora clipped Maddie Morrell 8-4 at #6.
