• UVA-Wise grabbed all three doubles matches to earn the opening point. Yi-Hsuan Chen and Pierre Djaroueh knocked off Zach Kriebel and Grant Sikes 6-1 at the #1 spot, Gustavo Marangoni and Diego Pedrero edged Federico Maccari and Julio Marques 7-6 (4) at #2, and Ayaan Tezabwala and Ege Uzun defeated John-Henry Herrington and Jackson Wagner 6-2 at #3.
• The Cavs claimed all six singles matches in straight sets: Chen over Kriebel at #1 (6-2, 6-1), Pedrero against Maccari at #2 (6-4, 6-2), Tezabwala against Sikes at #3 (6-2, 6-0), Djaroueh over Marques at #4 (6-1, 6-3), Arne Fassbender over Herrington at #5 (6-4, 6-0), and Uzun against Hardt Lesko at #6 (6-4, 6-3).
