Women's Soccer Drops ODAC Contest at Generals

The Short Story:  Washington and Lee scored a pair of goals in the first half that held up over the final 67 minutes as the Roanoke women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 ODAC contest to the Generals on Wednesday evening in Lexington.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Generals got on the board in the 7th minute with an assisted goal at 6:46.
  • WLU went on to added an insurance goal at 22:29 to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
  • With neither team was able to find the back of the net in the final 67:31, the Generals were able to win on their home field, 2-0
