The Lead: The Roanoke College women's and men's tennis teams played their final home matches of the 2022 season on Saturday. Roanoke played host to Randolph College at the Elizabeth Campus Tennis Complex. Both teams would hold early leads only to see the WildCats rally to take both matches 5-4.

Women's Highlights:

• Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum were 8-5 winners at the top doubles spot while at the #2 position, Julia Bassett and Sophie Bartholomaus cruised to an 8-1 victory.
• Fernstrum added a singles win with a 6-1 and 6-2 victory at #2.
• At the #4 spot, Bartholomaus took the first set, 6-1, but found herself in a seven-point tiebreaker at 6-6 in the second. She took the match with a 7-4 win in the breaker.

Men's Highlights:

• Zach Kriebel and Thomas Hodges won at #2 doubles 8-6 and when Dalton Capobianco and Hunter Adams won 8-3 at #3, the Maroons were up 2-1.
• Carter Hylton was a 6-2 and 6-4 winner at the #5 singles spot.
• At #6, Michael Morrell was a 6-0 and 6-0 winner.

What's Next: The Maroon women have completed their regular season while the men make the trip to Hampden-Sydney to warp up the regular season tomorrow.
