The Lead: Both the Roanoke women's and men's tennis teams picked up their second wins of the season with matching 9-0 wins at Ferrum.
Women's Highlights:
- The #2 doubles tandem of Margriet Bostoen and Julia Bassett won without dropping a game, 8-0. Bostoen didn't drop a game all day as she picked up a 6-0 and 6-0 win at #3 singles. Bassett finished off her opponent at #4 with a 6-0 and 6-3 result.
- The top doubles team of Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum won 8-1. In singles play, Collins was a 6-2 and 6-2 winner at #1 while Fernstrum did her partner one better with a 6-1 and 6-1 at the #2 spot.
- Sophie Bartholomaus and Dana Meyer teamed up for an 8-2 win at the #3 doubles spot. Bartholomaus added a win at #5 singles, 6-2 and 6-1, while partner Meyer was a 6-1 an 6-3 winner to complete the sweep of the Panthers.

Men's Highlights:
- Dalton Capobianco and Hunter Adams were perfect with an 8-0 win at #3 doubles. Capobianco dropped just one game on the day with a 6-0 and 6-1 at #3 singles.
- Thomas Hodges and teammate Carter Hylton picked up an 8-3 win at #2 doubles. Hodges was perfect in singles play with an 0-0 win at the #4 spot.
- Zach Kriebel and Hardt Lesko won, 8-5, at the top doubles spot to sweep the three doubles points. Kreibel was a 6-0 and 6-4 winner at #1 singles while Lesko won, 6-3 and 6-3, at the #2 spot.
- Lance Beheler was a 6-2 and 6-1 winner at #5 while Michael Morrell didn't drop a game in winning 6-0 and 6-0 at the #6 position.
What's Next: The Maroons are scheduled travel to Winchester on Sunday for a 1:00pm start with the Hornets of Shenandoah. However, the weather may play a factor as to if the match goes off as scheduled.
