The Lead: The Roanoke women's tennis team was finally able to play host to Southern Virginia in a match that had to be re-scheduled three times this fall due to weather. The Knights swept the doubles matches on their way to an 8-1 win in Salem.

Women's Highlights:

• Margriet Bostoen and Julia Bassett took their match at the #2 doubles spot into a tie breaker. With the match tied at 7-7, the duo from SVU took the tiebreaker 7-4 for the 8-7 win.
• In singles play, Basset would once again find herself in a tiebreak situation. After taking the opening set, 6-4, Jillian Arnold took the second frame, 6-3, to force a third set. Bassett won the tiebreaker 10-7 to give Roanoke the point.

What's Next: The Maroons play host to Covenant on Friday in their fall finale.
