The Lead: The Roanoke College men faced Emory & Henry on Friday afternoon. The Maroons took all three doubles matches for the early, 3-0, lead. In singles play, RC just missed the clean sweep as they picked up their fifth conference win of the season, 8-1.
Highlights:
- Roanoke swept the doubles matches as Jack Fishwick and Zach Kriebel (#1) and Dalton Capobianco and Hunter Adams (#3) both picked up 8-1 wins. At the two spot, Grayson White and Thomas Hodges made it 3-3 with an 8-2 victory.
- Fishwick won at the top spot for the third time in a week with a 6-2 and 6-1 victory.
- Hodges won at the #5 spot without losing a singles game while Capobianco finished off his opponent 6-1 and 6-0.
- Kriebel was victorious at #4 (6-1 and 6-4) while Lance Beheler gave Roanoke the 8-1 win with a 6-3 and 6-1 win at the #6 spot.
