The Lead: Roanoke College hosted the Star City Duals on Saturday in the Cregger Center Fieldhouse. The Maroons would face Ozarks, Southern Virginia, and Ferrum in the all-day event.

RC highlights:

• 125 – Mac Cafurello lost a 5-1 decision in his opening match before rebounding with a pair of decisions. Cafurello downed Jaden Nelson (SVU) 15-1 before besting Trent Proctor (Ferrum) 8-2.
• 133 – Sean Hall pinned Walker Fox (Ozarks) in 1:53 in his opener and returned to pick up a second fall (1:10) over Harper Thompson (SVU).
• 149 – Jarrod Pominville won his first match via forfeit and then pinned Tyler Ramirez (Ferrum) in 3:41.
• 157 – After winning his weight class last weekend at Averett, Jack Campbell picked up a major decision over Weston Hirschi (SVU) 11-2. David Reid won by technical fall over James Johnson (Ozarks) and then made it 2-0 for the day with a 9-5 decision over Christian Hite (Ferrum).
• 165 – Andrew McDougal won two matches. After picking up a 10-0 major decision in his opener vs. Ozarks, he came back to defeat Elijah Martin (Ferrum) by a 5-2 decision.
