The Lead: Roanoke used a 45-27 advantage in kills to sweep Piedmont, 3-0.

How it Happened:

With the opening set tied, 13-13, Roanoke would score eight of the next 10 points to pull away for the 1-0 lead.
The Maroons began to pull away from the Lions when Parker Moody recorded back-to-back-to-back kills en route to cruising to a 2-0 advantage.
The third set would be the closest of the match, with the teams tied at 25-25, Roanoke took advantage of one of Piedmont's 15 hitting errors to put away the set, and the match.
Moody paced the offense with 15 kills while Linsey Bailey added 10 kills and 10 digs. A trio of Maroons added five kills apiece.
Kennedy Clemmer registered a match high with 21 digs with Logan Pasley, Olivia Newman, and Avery Wolff each reaching double digits in assists.

The Lead: Looking to complete the four match sweep, the Maroons would dominate the net en route to the three set win.

How it Happened:

13 kills with just two errors would allow Roanoke to race out to a one set to love advantage.
Set number two was more of the same as the Maroons would break a 10-10 dead lock by winning 12 of the next 16 points, taking the second frame.
Roanoke looked poised to complete the sweep in dominating fashion, but Greensboro mounted a late rally, six straight points, to cut the deficit to just two points, 21-19. However, Roanoke got a kill and service ace from Bailey before a Pride hitting error would end the match.
Bailey had 17 kills and four service aces while Telia Harris would add 12 kills and four assisted blocks.
Clemmer once again posted a match high with 18 digs with Pasley assisting on 16 of the team's 38 kills.
Roanoke served 13 aces while committing just five receiving errors.
