The Lead: Roanoke topped Ferrum 7-2 in ODAC Men's Tennis action on Tuesday afternoon.

How it Happened:

• Roanoke won both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.  Grayson White and Jack Fishwick topped Riley Kern and Houston Murphy 8-0 at No. 1, while Jack Doriss and Alston Martin won 8-3 at No. 2.
• A forfeit by Roanoke at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles made it 2-2 heading into singles play.
• Fishwick helped give RC the lead with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Marshall Ownby at No. 2 singles.
• Thomas Hodges then knocked off David Bishop 6-1,6-1 at No. 4 to make it 4-2 RC.
• Roanoke closed out the match when Jack Doriss beat Patrick Marsh 6-1, 6-1 at No.3.
• Alston Martin and White each won singles matches in straight sets as well.
