The Lead: Roanoke knocked off Emory & Henry 7-2 in ODAC Women's Tennis action on Sunday afternoon in Salem.   

How it Happened:

• Roanoke took all three doubles matches to jump out to an early lead. Jessica Kennedy and Madeline Herring topped Katie Meade and Kaitlyn Sheaves 8-1 at No. 1.
• Janny Alvarado and Carolyn Kitsock would pick up a win at No. 2, while Kelly MacCluen and Sophie Bartholomaus won at No. 3 doubles.
• RC captured four of the six singles matches, highlighted by Kennedy winning at No. 1 over Mead 6-0, 6-2.
• Kitsock won at No. 2 over Sheaves 6-1, 6-1, while Alvarado knocked off Logan Graham 7-6, 6-2 at No. 4.
