The Lead: The Roanoke College Golf team opened its 2018 fall season at the Greene Turtle Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University.
How it Happened
- The Maroons placed 12th in the one-day tournament, shooting a 309. Guilford won the event as the Quakers combined to shot a 281, four strokes better than Christopher Newport.
- Evan Diebus shot a team-best 73 for the Maroons to place 28th individually. Adam Anker and Andrew Edwards each shot a 78 for RC.
- Josh Hill of Guilford and AJ Stouffer finished in a tie atop the leaderboard with a 67.
Up Next: Roanoke will take part in the Tom Kinder Memorial on Sunday and Monday.
