How it Happened:

• Kestrel Thorne-Kaunelis made a diving defensive save to keep the scoreless early in the first-half.
• Lynchburg got on the board with a goal from Isabella Eldridge 15 minutes into the contest.
• The Hornets doubled their lead with a goal from Emily Dudley with eight minutes left in the first half.
• At the 44-minute mark, Jackie Lerro scored off a deflected shot following a corner to extend the lead to 3-0.
• Emilee Wooten got the Maroons on the board with 17 minutes left in regulation to close the gap to 3-1.
• Emma Clark played all 70 minutes in goal, highlighted by a pair of saves in the second half.
• Roanoke closes the season with a 12-4 record.
