Women's Tennis Tops Hollins 7-0 on Thursday

The Lead: The Roanoke Women's Tennis team claimed a 7-0 ODAC win over Hollins Thursday afternoon on senior day in Salem.

How it Happened

Emily Henderson and Colette Wibaut scored an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles over HU's Htet Myat San and Jhovanna Salmeron.
Madeline Herring and Catherine Lee won at No. 2 doubles, while Carolyn Kitsock and Emma Barker topped Kateri Johnson and Casey Mahan 8-4 at No. 3.
The Maroons then took all four of the completed singles matches. Henderson topped Salmeron 6-3, 6-3 at No.1 and Wibaut downed Olivia Dannon 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
Barker won at No. 4 singles, while Lydia Dey topped Elizabeth Rochow 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.

Up Next: Roanoke will travel to Virginia Wesleyan for a 10:00 a.m. match on Saturday.
