The Lead: Roanoke Women's Tennis notched a 6-3 ODAC win over Lynchburg Saturday afternoon in Salem.

How it Happened

• Roanoke took a 2-1 lead following doubles behind a win from Emma Barker and Carolyn Kitsock at No. 2,  while Janny Alvarado and Catherine Lee beat Kelsey Dowling and Sarah Wyly 8-4 at No. 3.
• In singles action, Colette Wibaut took a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Emily Simpson at No. 2, while Catherine Lee won 6-2, 6-0 over Wyly at No. 3.
• Barker did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4, while Alvarado earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 5 Dowling.
