The Lead: Randolph used four wins in singles play to take a 5-4 ODAC victory over Roanoke on Friday afternoon in Lynchburg.

How it Happened

Roanoke scored a pair of wins during the doubles session. Madeline Herring and Catherine Lee topped Jenna Sweet and Ashley Schmitz 8-3 at No. 2 . Carolyn Kitsock and Emma Barker also won 8-4 over Randolph's Samantha Dickerson and Kristen Hamilton at No. 3.
In singles play, Herring was able to beat Lauren Appel 7-5, 6-1 at No. 4, while Lydia Dey rallied for a 1-6, 6-2, 10-3 win over Dickerson at No. 6.
The WildCats used wins in each of the other four singles matches to secure the league win.
