The Lead: Centre used a pair of goals in the second half to hand RC its first loss of the season. 

How it Happened:

• Roanoke held Centre scoreless through the first 55 minutes before Emily Schank found the back of the cage to give the Colonels a 1-0 lead.
• Centre scored the final goal of the game at the 62:17 mark giving the Maroons their first loss of the season.
• The Colonels held a 9-4 advantage in both shots and penalty corners over the Maroons. Shelbi Holloman led RC with two shots on goal.
• Sophomore Heather Schauder made two saves on the day in goal for RC.
