The Lead: Drew used a pair of timely first-half goals and held off a high pressure RC attack to complete a 2-0 win Saturday evening in Madison, N.J.
How it Happened - Drew got on the board in the 10th minute when following an RC corner kick, the Rangers were able to counter and Joe Sollod found a streaking Benjamin Audi for the goal.
- In the 28th minute, Drew was awarded a penalty kick for a foul inside the box and Audi converted to put Drew up 2-0.
- Roanoke turned up the offensive pressure, forcing Drew keeper John Marques to make three first-half saves.
- In the second-half, RC outshot Drew 9-3 and Marques made three saves, including one on RC's Robby Lentine in the closing minutes.
- For the game, Roanoke outshot Drew 13-9. RC held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks, including five in the second-half, but the Maroons were unable to capitalize.
