The Lead: The Roanoke College Volleyball team improved to 15-0 overall and 5-0 in the ODAC with a 3-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened:

• The Maroons took advantage of nine attacking errors by the Royals in the first game. RC led 20-18 before reeling off five consecutive points to take the game.
• Roanoke overcame a .083 hitting percentage in game two to win 25-18. RC was up 18-17 and used a 7-1 run that was capped by two service aces and a kill from Kylah Blackmore to close out the game.
• RC jumped out to an 8-0 lead in game three and never looked back en route to a 25-19 win to close out the match.
• Sydney Daniel had a match-high 12 kills, while Blackmore and Allison White each had seven.
• The Maroons combined for nine aces on the night with Jessica Block, Alexandra Martin and Blackmore each having a pair.
• Martin had 17 digs for RC, Blackmore had nine digs and Block had nine stops to go along with her 30 assists.
