The Lead: Roanoke Head Coach Blair Trail notched her 299th career win as the Maroons topped Guilford 3-1 on Friday evening. RC is now 12-0 overall and 3-0 in the ODAC.How it Happened: - Roanoke came out firing in game one hitting at a .364 clip, while the Quakers hit just .057 as the Maroons took the game 25-17.
- Game two was back and forth with neither team able to open up a big lead. Down 24-23, Sydney Daniel pulled RC even and a Jessica Block service ace made it 25-24. Guilford would tie it at 25-25, but a Daniel kill and a setting error by the Quakers gave RC the win.
- After Guilford rallied to take game three, Roanoke jumped out to a 19-11 lead in game four en route to the 25-15 win.
- Daniel finished the match with 12 kills, while Logan Graves had 11 and Allison White had eight. Block had a total of five aces to go along with 37 assists and 10 digs.
- Alexandra Martin and Kylah Blackmore led the defense with 14 and 14 digs, respectively.
