The Lead:  The Roanoke College Volleyball Team closed out its Maroon Invitational with a pair victories on Saturday. The Maroons finished the tournament 4-0 and are now 10-0 overall, their best starts since the 2008 season.

How it happened:

• In the win over Mary Baldwin to start the day, RC got nine kills from Allison White and eight kills from Kylah Blackmore.
• All-Tournament selection Jessica Block had 25 assists and fellow all-tournament choice Alexandra Martin posted 21 digs.
• Against Hollins, Sydney Daniel and Logan Graves each had nine kills, while Blackmore chipped in with eight. Block recorded 30 assists and Martin had 13 digs.
• Blackmore had 10 digs as well while Block added three aces from the service line.
