The Lead: Roanoke College dropped a 101-98 decision to Lebanon Valley College in the PSU-Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday. It was the first game of the 2015-16 season for both teams.
 
How it Happened:

• John Fitchett scored a game-high 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting in just 28 minutes of action.
• Joey Miller scored 19 points, while John Caldwell came off the bench to score 11 points and grab 10 rebounds for a double-double in his first game in a Maroon uniform.
• LVC had four of its five starters in double-figures with Same Light and Andy Orr each tallying 24 points in the win. Kyle Burke and Travis Conrad had 10 and 16 points, respectively for the Dutchmen.
• RC shot 43.5% from the floor for the game, making 37-of-85 attempts, including 10 three-pointers, while LVC made 35-of-72 (48.6%) field goals.

Roanoke will face Rutgers-Camden on Sunday in the consolation game of the tournament at 1:00 p.m. Rutgers-Camden lost to host PSU-Harrisburg 82-64 on Saturday.
