The Lead: Roanoke College Volleyball fell to USA South opponent Meredith College by a score of 3-0 in this non-conference matchup.
 
How it Happened:

• RC fell behind early in the first set, but was able to battle back to make it an even 7-7. The Avenging Angels were able to slowly pull away to take the set 25-18.
• Multiple kills by Meredith's Karlie Long were able to spark a run early on in the second set, which was good enough for the them to win set 25-14
• The Maroons held a 12-8 advantage in the third set that included three early kills from Kylah Blackmore. Meredith eventually pulled away in the middle of the set to win 25-17.
• Jessica Block led RC with 23 assists and also pitched in four digs.
• Kylah Blackmore and Sydney Daniel each had a team-high six kills, and blackmore also led the Maroons in digs with seven.
