Box Score SALEM – The Roanoke College volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 3-1 victory over Guilford College on Wednesday evening.  After winning their last five matches, the Maroons now have a record of 15-6, with a 5-1 mark in the ODAC. The Quakers now sit with a record of 10-11; 4-4 in ODAC play.
 
Since Blair Trail took the helm of the volleyball program, the Maroons have had 12 15-win seasons.  With the victory over Guilford this evening, Roanoke has posted its seventh 15-win season in the last eight years.  The Maroons now hold an 18-10 all-time series advantage over Guilford.
 
Samantha Klostermann and Mackenzie Tyree were also recognized on their senior night.  Klostermann has played in 121 matches and 333 games.  She currently ranks 10^th all-time in kills at Roanoke with 646 over four years.  Tyree, who has only played with the Maroons for two years, set the single season digs record last year with 482.  In two years, she has 755 digs, which stands at 12^th all-time at Roanoke.
 
Klostermann led the Maroons in kills on the night with 12, while also finishing with 15 digs and two block assists.  Macey Tyree topped all players in digs with 26, going along with eight kills and three service aces, a team high.  Mackenzie Tyree had 13 digs, while Alexandra Martin tallied 12.  Sarah Long was second in kills with 11, putting up four total blocks on the night.
 
With tonight's match, Roanoke closed its regular season home schedule, playing the remaining seven matches on the road.  The Maroons' next match is on Saturday, October 12^th as they travel to Virginia Beach to play Virginia Wesleyan.  That contest is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start.
