Box Score WINCHESTER - The Roanoke College women's soccer team defeated Shenandoah College 2-0 on Friday. The Maroons now hold a record of 3-2 and 2-0 in ODAC Play, while the Hornets are now 2-5, 0-1 in the ODAC.

Roanoke scored its first goal in the 19th minute of the first half. Rebekah Adams had two opportunities to score, with one shot being saved and the other hitting the crossbar, but at 19:44 she netted her third try in a minute off a pass from Carmen Graves for the 1-0 RC lead.

In the second half, Adams would find the back of the net once more at the 50:23 mark as she found the back of the net to take the 2-0 lead. This lead would hold for the remainder of the contest, as Roanoke remains undefeated in ODAC play.

The Maroons outshot the Hornets 15-6, with Adams leading the team with six. Stephanie Parenteau and Carmen Graves followed her with three each. Shenandoah led the contest in corner kicks, 2-0.

The Maroons travel over the next two days down to Atlanta to take on #2 ranked Emory University on Sunday. That contest is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start.
