Box Score BRIDGEWATER - Carmen Graves scored two goals as Roanoke defeated Bridgewater in ODAC action. The Maroons move to 7-1-1, 3-0 ODAC while the Eagles fall to 6-3, 1-2 in ODAC play.

The Eagles had the Maroons on the ropes early as Megan Groos scored the first goal of the game at the 11 minute mark, giving Bridgewater the 1-0 lead. However, six minutes later the Maroons answered with a goal from Kara Kapell, her first of the season.

In the 26th minute, Carmen Graves found a loose ball in front of the Bridgewater net and headed it in to take a 2-1 lead. Graves came back in the 52nd minute and used her head again to find the back of the net and increase the lead to 3-1. With Graves tallying two, she now has three goals on the season.

The Maroon's outshot the Eagles 18-7 and led in corner kicks, 3-2. Carolyn Sarabacher tallied five saves in the contest.

Roanoke will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 28, as they travel to Lexington, Va. to face Washington and Lee. The contest is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
